New Generation In Vivo Transfection Reagents
Altogen Biosystems offers various in vivo transfection systems for testing pharmaceuticals in animals. The major challenge in performing RNAi studies in vivo is efficient, directed delivery of functional small interfering (siRNA), shRNA, and microRNA molecules to specific tissues. Lipid-, polymer-, and nanoparticle-based in vivo transfection reagents provide differential biodistribution and transfection efficiency to particular organs and tumor tissues. All reagents are suitable for systemic administration, as well as direct intratumoral or intraperitoneal injection.
PEG-Liposome siRNA In Vivo Transfection Kit
Altogen Biosystems launched second generation of in vivo RNAi transfection reagents in the company's popular in vivo delivery product line: PEG-Liposome siRNA In Vivo Transfection Kit. Novel PEGylated liposome-based siRNA delivery kit is optimized for directed RNAi induction by efficient delivery of functional small RNA molecules (siRNA, shRNA, miRNA) into tissues. Liposome component provides in vivo siRNA protection due to efficient siRNA-liposome encapsulation. A remarkable feature of this reagent is reduced innate immune response and low cytotoxicity due to biodegradable PEG modification.
This reagent is also compatible for in vivo transfection of any negatively charged molecules, including siRNA, RNA, DNA, and small proteins. The company also offers custom encapsulation of target molecules into PEG-liposome in vivo transfection reagent.
Altogen Biosystems has previously developed nanoparticle-, polymer- and lipid-based in vivo transfection systems (www.altogen.com/mirna.php) used for laboratory testing pharmaceuticals in cells and animals.
Stable Cell Line Production in 28 Days
Altogen Labs offers contract research services, including generating stable cell lines, vector construction, and RNA interference (RNAi) cell transfection. Creating cell lines that express a gene of interest or siRNA can be very complex, expensive, and time-consuming. Altogen Custom Services has unique experience with over 100 cancer cell lines and expertise in polymer- and nanoparticle-based gene delivery technologies to produce stable clonal cells in just 28 days. Other custom services include assay development, cloning, transient transfection, shRNA-encoding vector construction, siRNA design, and in vitro validation.
CRO Contract Research Services: Altogen Labs (www.altogenlabs.com)
Altogen Labs provides a variety of specialized biotechnology and pharmaceutical services, including stable cell line. Altogen Labs makes generating stably-expressing cancer cell lines and primary cells less expensive and time-consuming by offering stable cell line services that transform the cell line of choice to stably express a gene of interest or shRNA-encoding construct. Cloning and shRNA expression services are also available.
Altogen Labs offers GLP-compliant contract research services (CRO), including generation of stable cell lines, gene silencing and RNA interference services, microorganism identification (bacteria 16S ID), in vivo toxicology (IND) and pre-clinical studies, in vivo xenograft animal models, ELISA assay development, siRNA library screening and transfection services, bioremediation products and services.
