Stable Cells Generation Service

Altogen Services Department provides service for transforming the cell line of choice (any cancer cell line or immortalized primary culture) to stably express protein of interest or shRNA targeting the protein. Permanent integration of protein-coding construct (or shRNA targeing protein) into host cells genome allows to demonstrate the long-term effect of gene overexpression and/or gene silencing in vitro. siRNA Services

Gene silencing is a powerfull experimental tool used in biology laboratories to knockdown mRNA and protein expression of selected gene. siRNA is a part of RNA interference (RNAi) pathway where expression of small dsRNA activate cellular process reducing expression of selected protein in a sequence specific manner.
